There was a time when reading a good book represented a single pleasure most people looked forward to. Nowadays, children have simply lost the inclination to read books mostly because of smart gadgets and also sometimes due to lack of support & guidance.

We here are trying to veer the new generation towards reading the books. Our sole aim is to inculcate the reading habits in children and enhance their vocabulary.

The One and Only Ivan by Katherine Applegate

Ivan is an easy-going gorilla who has spent his life performing for the crowds at the Exit 8 shopping mall. He rarely misses life in the jungle. In fact, he hardly thinks about it at all. But everything changes when a baby elephant called Ruby arrives and Ivan realises he must find a new life for them both. A Long Walk To Water by Linda Sue Park

A Long Walk to Water begins as two stories, told in alternating sections, about two eleven-year-olds in Sudan, a girl in 2008 and a boy in 1985. The girl, Nya, is fetching water from a pond that is two hours’ walk from her home: she makes two trips to the pond every day. The boy, Salva, becomes one of the “lost boys” of Sudan, refugees who cover the African continent on foot as they search for their families and for a safe place to stay.
